Position Overview

We seek a highly motivated and knowledgeable Scientific Consultant for Sales and Support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuroscience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scientific Support: Engage with potential and existing customers professionally via email, phone, video call, and in-person
  • Product Consultation: Provide technical consultation and quotes of equipment on our portfolio that best address the researcher/ customer needs
  • Training and Education: Conduct installation and training sessions, webinars, and presentations to educate customers on the latest neuroscience technologies and products in our portfolio
  • Technical Support: Deliver first-level support to our customers and assist in developing and redefining troubleshooting documentation to be used internally
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with researchers, clinicians and other key stakeholders in the neuroscience community
  • Travel: Travel to conferences (local and international), trade shows, and customer sites as needed to support sales and marketing activities

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: At least MSc level in Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, or similar subject. Ideally, with experience in the Neuroscience field. A PhD or extended professional experience is a plus
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years working in a neuroscience lab (or related field)
  • Social skills: excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively
  • Professional skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with current trends and advancements in the field of neuroscience
    • In-depth understanding of neuroscience theories, principles, and methodologies
  • Additional qualifications: Published research in reputable scientific journals. Multimodal data collection and/or data processing (e.g. EEG/fNIRS, EEG/Eye Tracking, EEG/fMRI). Experience with one or more programming languages. Previous experience with equipment from products in our portfolio (e.g. Brain Products, Easycap, CGX, Tobii, Cortivision). Experience in consulting or advisory roles
